NEW BEDFORD, MA, March 3, 2010, American Pride Seafoods earned two of the top three medals in the Alaska Symphony of Seafood Foodservice category awards competition, held February 19th in Anchorage. APS’s Chef’s Special Collection™ Zesty Lemon Flounder won the silver medal and its Pank-O-Licious™ Kickin’ Buffalo Deep Skinned Alaska Pollock Sliders took home the bronze.

The New Products Contest at the Alaska Symphony of Seafood is a competition from a panel of expert judges and from a crowd of hungry, Alaskan seafood connoisseurs. The entrants are food manufacturers and the main ingredient is Alaskan seafood. The Symphony publicizes innovative uses for, and promotes increased consumption of Alaska seafood, a goal which American Seafoods Group is proud to help sponsor.
